We have had a lot of people asking about the festival and whether we were going to have one again. I am sorry to say we will NOT be having a festival. The Celtic Festival for 2011 was wet, wet, wet, and lots of mud.... kinda looked like old Woodstock , but we kept our clothes on!
We ARE having our OPEN HOUSE on the same date Oct. 4th (First Saturday of October) Bagpiper Terry Greene will be playing 10 - 2 If you've haven't been in for awhile, stop in a take a look. we'd love to chat.

Thistle & Pine is nestled back a country lane in an old farm house just off Rt. 119 in Marion Center, PA. We're 12 miles north of Indiana, PA (home of late actor Jimmy Stewart) and 12 miles south if Punxsutawney (home of Punxsutawney Phil the famous groundhog and weather predictor)........ I grew up listening to the bagpipes played by my father. (That's my father in the picture). I always loved the Celtic heritage. (yes, I'm part Scottish & Welsh) I also adore country decorating. While working on my Business Degree, I took a course in Entreprenurship. There, I was encouraged to persue my dream of opening a store. So with the support of my husband Gary and family members, I took that giant leap. (love ya guys) My customers love the store, so they encouraged me to start an online store. So thanks to all my faithful friends that are making my storefront a successful endeavor, I invite them and you to shop my online store. Enjoy your favorite tunes and beverage while you shop. If you're in the area, drop in! Thanks for your support and patience. .......Teresa .......
